Footprints™ Installation

If Footprints™ is already installed on your machine and you just need to update to the latest version, go to the update page instead.

Before you can use the software you will need to download IES-format photometry to your PC or network. (If you already have data from us or others you can skip this step). We recommend creating a folder structure like "C:\IES\Manufacturer\Product Line\" to organize your files.

For example, if you wanted to use our Gullwing, you could create the folder "C:\IES\Gardco\" and then Extract the Gullwing files into this new folder. (The "Gullwing" sub-folder is automatically created.)

For first-time installation, download the Footprints™ SETUP program and save the file to your Desktop. When the download is complete, close all other programs, double-click "FootprintsInstaller.msi" and follow the instructions. After installation is complete, delete the setup file on your Desktop and you're ready to go!If you aren't already familiar with template generators, you'll find the online tutorial helpful.
